Visa requirements and laws regarding entry into foreign ports and countries change frequently, and you, as the passenger, are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary travel documents for entry into all ports and countries during your cruise. Where Crystal provides visa information, it is done as a matter of courtesy. Crystal is not responsible for and expressly disclaims liability for any errors or omissions relating to any visa information provided.
Passport Information
Most countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond travel. Please check your passport's expiration date to ensure it is valid for 6 months beyond travel or as required by the countries in your itinerary.
Connecting Flights
If traveling internationally, the countries you are flying to, or connecting through may have separate visa or travel requirements. Please check to ensure you meet all documentation requirements prior to boarding your flight.

Visa Requirements for Combination Voyage Bookings
Please review the visa requirements for our scheduled turn-around countries listed below. Requirements may differ depending on whether you arrive and depart a country in-transit onboard a ship, embarking (flying in), or debark (flying out). Regardless of how many consecutive voyages you are combining, all calls made after you embark to begin your voyage and before you debark at the end of your voyage are considered in-transit calls.
Please review the following requirements and scenarios for Crystal’s turnaround countries below. These are the countries where Crystal guests either embark or debark on single voyages.
Australia ETA
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Guests must obtain an Australia ETA prior to sailing.
Brazil eVisa
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Guests must obtain a Brazil eVisa prior to sailing.
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System)
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Beginning the last quarter of 2026 (no exact date to be announced), guests will be required to obtain an ETIAS when traveling to Schengen countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco (Gratis member), Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland).
Ghana Sticker Visa
- Embarking - Guests must obtain a Ghana Visa prior to sailing.
- In-Transit or Debarking - Visas available on arrival, applicable visa fees will be charged to guest’s onboard accounts.
India eVisa
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Guests must obtain an India eVisa prior to sailing.
Indonesia
- Embarking - Guests must obtain an Indonesia e-VOA prior to sailing
- In-Transit or Debarking - Visas available on arrival, applicable visa fees will be charged to guest’s onboard accounts.
Kenya ETA
- Embarking - Guests must obtain a Kenya ETA prior to sailing.
- In-Transit or Debarking - Visas available on arrival, applicable visa fees will be charged to guest’s onboard accounts.
New Zealand ETA
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Guests must obtain a New Zealand ETA prior to sailing.
Republic of, S. Korea
- Embarking or Debarking - Guests must obtain a K-ETA prior to sailing.
- In-Transit - No K-ETA is required when in-transit onboard the ship
Saudi Arabia eVisa
- Embarking, In-Transit or Debarking - Guests must obtain a Saudi Arabia eVisa prior to sailing.
Seychelles ETA
- Embarking or Debarking - Guests must obtain a Seychelles ETA prior to sailing.
- In-Transit - No ETA is required when in-transit onboard the ship
United Arab Emirates
- Embarking - Guests can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport, free of charge.
- In-Transit or Debarking - Visas available on arrival, free of charge.
United Kingdom ETA
- Embarking, In-Transit, or Debarking - Guests must obtain a UK ETA prior to sailing.
US and Canadian passport holders do not require visas for turn-around calls in the following countries: Argentina, Barbados, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa. This applies regardless of the point of entry or exit
Single Voyage Visa Kits for US and Canadian Passport Holders
Visa kits have been prepared for each single voyage and include all necessary visas and travel authorizations required for embarkation. Please note that visas available onboard or waived for in-transit are noted but not included in the application kit. Visa kits will become accessible 120 days prior to sailing as most visas are not open to apply for until 90-120 days prior to arrival.
Guests must have all the required visas or Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs) noted prior to embarkation. Failure to present valid documents may result in denied boarding
