Passport Information
Most countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond travel. Please check your passport's expiration date to ensure it is valid for 6 months beyond travel or as required by the countries in your itinerary. If you need to renew your US passport, click here.
Connecting Flights
If traveling internationally, the countries you are flying to, or connecting through may have separate visa or travel requirements. Please check to ensure you meet all documentation requirements prior to boarding your flight. You can check if a visa is required for your connection by clicking here.
Extended Land Programs and Overland Shore Excursions
If you are participating in an extended land program or overland shore excursion booked through Crystal, please check the program's detailed description page under 'special notes' for any additional visas or travel authorizations that may be required.
Visa Requirements for Combination Bookings
Please download Crystal's Step-by-Step Guide to Country Visa Requirements Based on Mode of Entry and Exit. Visa requirements may differ depending on how you arrive in or depart from a country, and this guide will help you determine the correct documentation for your specific voyage or combination of voyages.
Visa Requirements for Single Voyages
The visa kits below are customized for U.S. passport holders traveling on single voyages that require visas prior to embarkation. These visas must be obtained in advance, as guests who do not have the required documentation may be denied boarding. The kits will become accessible 120 days prior to sailing, since most visas cannot be applied for until 90 to 120 days before arrival.
If your voyage is not listed, this does not necessarily mean that a visa is not required. In some cases, the destination may not require a visa for entry, the visa may be arranged by the ship upon arrival, or the country may grant an exemption for cruise passengers arriving and departing by ship.
