Brazil – any visit to Brazil that involves providing training to local Corning employees, providing technical assistance to install or repair machinery, computer software or equipment, or to perform other technical duties at either an affiliated company or a client site requires a technical visa. A business visa or visa exempt travel for this type of activity in not allowed. Please consult your Human Resources Manager to start this process BEFORE you book travel. These visas take several weeks to obtain.
France – any visit to France that involves providing technical assistance to install or repair machinery, computer software or equipment, or to perform other technical duties at either an affiliated company or a client site requires a technical visa. These visas take about 1-2 months to obtain depending on the specific visa.
