Welcome to the VisaCentral Standard Global Visa Support Center
I am a GE Customer or GE Executive Host, do I need a visa?
GE is recommending that all GE Customers and GE Executive Hosts obtain a business visa rather than a tourist visa for Brazil – this is due to the business nature of our GE program. We do not recommend that GE Executive Hosts or Customers utilize a tourist visa or take advantage of any tourist Temporary Restricted Visa Waiver that countries like the US, Canada, Australia and Japan are currently promoting. The terms of these Visa Waiver Programs may not comply with the business nature of our program and guests may be refused entry into the country if questioned at the border.
I am a guest/companion of a GE Customer or GE Executive Host, do I need a visa?
Citizens who hold passports from the United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan traveling to Brazil as TOURISTS (e.g. GE Olympic accompanying guest), arriving in Brazil exclusively between June 1st and September 18th, 2016, WILL NOT need visas to be admitted into the country. This is due to the Temporary Restricted Visa Waiver for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (click here for the official announcement).
If you require a Business Visa and need a Letter of Invitation, please email [email protected]
